Plantation Security, Inc. is a subsidiary of Talon Security, locally owned and operated by Charlie and Donna Strickland. The company is a licensed and insured private security firm that was established in 1980 by Alan Lamarche to meet the unique security needs of rural south Georgia and north Florida properties. When Alan retired, Charlie and Donna purchased the company to continue its legacy.

We specialize in providing professional security patrols and protection to plantations, farms, hunting clubs, large acreage private and government-owned rural properties, residences and complexes. Our areas of expertise extend to encompass not only the protection of the property, but also the protection of those enjoying it, including residential security consulting for personal safety, in-home training and firearms training as requested. We also offer VIP client security services upon request.

Our goal is simple. We’re here to provide that extra layer of protection so property owners and residents can feel safe and enjoy their homes and acreage. We use state-of-the-art equipment and employ experienced, licensed professionals as a barrier between our clients and those who might harm them, their families and/or their property.

Today, we protect more than 200,000 privately owned acres throughout south Georgia and north Florida.
